ANNOTATION

Scanning near-field optical microscopy/microspectroscopy comprises several optical techniques suitable for studies of materials with subdiffraction limit spatial resolution. Hence, it is possible to study nanoscopic details of both chemical and morphological structure of biomacromolecules. Nevertheless, proper experimental setups have to be developed for obtaining the reliable information.
