This PhD Theses will be focused on the implementation several instrumental platforms of gas chromatography for analysis of volatile and semi-volatile components of food and environmental samples. A high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) technique will be mainly applied, a tandem mass spectrometry technique with triple quadrupole analyzer (QqQ) will be also used for target analysis of selected compounds to compare performance and applicability both techniques in future studies. Within non-target screening markers of contamination sources will be identified.
